FFETA's First Charity Golf Day: Friday 13 May 2022

You are invited to participate in the inaugural FFETA Charity Golf Day on 13 May 2022 at the Blue Valley Golf & Country Estate (Midrand). This Gary Player designed course is to international championship standard.

The format will be 4-ball Alliance, with two scores to count and the cost per four-ball is R5000 which includes playing fees and golf cart, golf shirt and cap, halfway house costs, prize giving dinner and cabaret! What more could you ask for?

If you are not a golfer, you are more than welcome to attend the evening function and prize giving, which is always great fun. The cost to attend the evening function is only R350 per person for dinner and entertainment.

We are currently looking for sponsors for various items such as shirts, caps, prizes, the dinner and/or drinks, and halfway house. Sponsors receive the maximum amount of publicity possible both on the day and afterwards, courtesy of various safety and security related magazines as well as our website. If you are interested in any of the sponsorship opportunities available, please contact Rosemary at FFETA.

Our beneficiary charity is Children of Fire, a charity established in 1996 by founder and current director Bronwen Jones. She realised there was a desperate need for an organisation that could assist young South African burn survivors.

The socio-economic challenges of South Africa contribute greatly to the high incidence of burns among children, so the charity focuses on education in informal settlement communities on the dangers of fires and ways to prevent them. It was felt this charity was most relevant to FFETA and the fire industry as a whole. Visit www.firechildren.org for more information.
