In shadows deep, the quiet falls, A world once bright, now muted calls, Whispers dance in the flicker of flame, As stillness stretches, the heart feels the same.
Candlelight flickers on weary walls, Each heartbeat echoes, a soft lament calls, The hum of life, a ghost of its tune, Beneath the dark shroud of a stubborn moon.
