Standards and other things

SANS 1475: We can finally report that SANS 1475 Part 1 has at long last, been sent for publication so watch out for notifications as to when it becomes available.

SANS 1910: This is being reviewed to add in some additional types of extinguishers, but nothing is final as yet. You will be notified as soon as we know anything further.

SANS 11601 ~ Trolley Units: In respect of Trolley Units, discussions are being held with various technical committees to investigate amending 10400 and to see if the EN standards can be used. Currently, none of these units can be legally serviced as they are all non-approved, purely because there is no testing facility for them here in South Africa.
