FFETA functions in PE and Cape Town

Once again, advantage was taken of the fact that the FFETA administrator and Chair would be in both PE and Cape Town for the SAQCC Fire road shows.

PE was the second time, the Beach Hotel has hosted a FFETA function the evening beforehand which once again included all the SAQCC Fire presenters as well as a contingent from the Department of Employment and Labour. As a marketing exercise, invitations had also been extended to other companies in the fire industry in the Eastern Cape that were not currently FFETA members and that proved a resounding success. Long service certificates were handed out to A&L Fire for 15 years membership and to SRH for 10 years membership.

Cape Town saw the very first FFETA function to be held and the evening was held at a most beautiful venue in Durbanville, Chocolat Bistro. Once again, invitations were extended to other companies in the fire industry and not solely FFETA members, and this saw a great turnout from a variety of companies.

As can be seen from the photographs, these functions provide an excellent opportunity to network with owners of other companies as well as committee members and staff of not only FFETA but also SAQCC Fire.NEXT STOP BLOEMFONTEIN.
